Dr. Winslow Robertson

Winslow Robertson is a Postdoctoral Fellow at EMLyon's Research Center in Strategy & Organization (STORM). He received his Ph.D. at IESE Business School in Managing People in Organizations, where his dissertation explored the intersection between ideology and management. His Africa-China scholarship focuses on Chinese economic engagement with African states and markets, and the interaction between policy finance and investment. His public-facing work has appeared in The Washington Post's Monkey Cage, African Arguments, and Africa Is a Country. In addition, he is the founder and managing member of Cowries and Rice, a China-Africa strategic consultancy which promotes sustainable business practices by Chinese organizations operating in the African continent.
